Cotton Blankets offer warmth, comfort and beauty to your bed. With so many beds to choose from, the task of choosing the proper blanket may be quite difficult. Keep these ways to help you select a blanket in mind and you will purchase the perfect blanket!
- Choose the right amount of heat. For year-round, lightweight heat, choose a thermal acrylic bed blanket or a cotton blanket . For cooler weather or additional heat, choose a fleece blanket or acrylic conditional heat weave blanket. For cold weather and maximum heat, choose an electric blanket or wool blanket.
- Remember to know your fabrics. Cotton blankets are breathable, comfortable, and very soft. Acrylic blankets repeat the properties of wool, and are durable and easy to take care of. Wool blankets let moisture away from your body and blacks body heat and cold from getting to your body. Electric blankets let the sleeper adjust his or her needs and are extremely safe.
- You also must know your weave. Both acrylic and cotton blankets can have a different kind of weave. When the fibers are woven loosely, it is called a thermal weave. When a thermal weave is woven, it allows air to circulate. Thermal blankets are perfect for lightweight heat and are wonderful extra insulators when a heavy blanket is put on top of them. Fibers that are woven tightly are in a conventional weave blanket. This offers extra durability and warmth.
